Ellen M. MillerEllen M. Miller, 80, a resident of Crestview Acres, Marion, IA died Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the nursing home. Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion. The family met with friends Friday evening, December 4, 2009 at the funeral home.
Burial was in Lafayette Cemetery, Alburnett.
Survivors include her son, Larry (Karen) Miller of Washington; daughter, Allene (Earl) Covington of Marion; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and five sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Miller; four brothers; and two sisters.
Ellen was born July 19, 1929, in Tipton, Iowa, the daughter of George and Ester (Coay) Hawley. She married Earl Miller on July 27, 1947.
