CANCER CAUSES DEATH OF WOMAN

Mrs. Thomas Boggs, of Cranston, sister of Mrs. Henry Busch of this city, died at her home this morning shortly before 5 o'clock. Death was due to a cancer with which she had been suffering for the past two years. She had been bedfast for the past seven weeks during which time all hope for her recovery was abandoned.

Decedent was born in Muscatine county March 26, 1861, and had remained a resident of this county her entire life. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Miss Grace Boggs at home, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Burkhardt, Mrs. Cora Burkhardt of Cranston, and Mrs. Henry Busch of this city, and three brothers, James, Frank and Edward Boggs, all of Cranston.

The funeral will be held at the Oak Grove church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, interment to be made in the Oak Grove cemetery.
