LETTS WOMAN DIES; INVALID 7 YEARS

Letts, Ia., Aug. 21. - Mrs. Henry Wier, a well known resident three and a half miles southeast of this city, died last night following an illness of seven years.

Mrs. Wier was born September 12, 1867, in the Canton Claius, Switzerland. She came to this country with her parents in 1872 and settled in Iowa shortly after. February 25, 1885, she was married to Henry Wier at Wapello. Eight children were born to this union, seven of whom are living. Besides these and her husband, two brothers, William Rhyner of Letts and Albert Rhyner of California, and two sisters survive her.

Funeral arrangements have not been made, pending word from the brother of the deceased in California.
