Marion Bailey

Marion Lester Bailey, 65, of 1621 S. 14th Street, died Tuesday at 7:35 a.m. in Burlington hospital after an illness of 3 months.

He was born Oct. 9, 1882, in Oakville and came to Burlington at 18 months ago. He was an electrician. Sept. 11, 1907, he married Maude Williams at Oakville. He was a member of the Presbyterian church at Oakville and the Masonic lodge at Wapello.

Surviving are the widow; a son, Harold, and 2 grandchildren of Burlington; five sisters, Mrs. Louise Meddors, Burlington, Mrs Ha_le Baxter, Midvale, Utah, Mrs. Blanche Wical, Galesburg, Mrs. Vertie Sheridan, Moline, and Mrs. Ruby Stewart, Cedar Rapids, a brother, Harry, Oakville; several nieces and nephews.

The body was taken to ___funeral home. Services will be held at the Oakville Presbyterian church at a time to be announced later.
