Mrs. Hattie Williard

Mrs. Hattie Williard of Oakville died in Mercy hospital at 7:18 a.m. Thursday, May 5.

Had she lived until May 11 Mrs. Williard would have been 88 years old.

The widow of James Williard, she was a practical nurse and also a one-time hotel operator at Oakville.

Surviving are two sons, and two daughters, Arch Williard, Muscatine, Mrs. Fern Gunderson, Joliet, Ill.; and Ennis Williard and Mrs. Minnie Orr, both of Oakville.

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren also survive. Two sons, Merritt and Cody Williard died previously.

The body is at the Dudgeon-McCulley funeral home, in Wapello.
