Ollie Frederick Blake, 68, of Letts, died Friday, April 4, 2003, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iowa City.

Graveside services and burial were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Letts Cemetery.

A luncheon was served at the Letts Community Center immediately following the graveside service.

Visitation was Monday at Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory in Muscatine.

Mr. Blake was born October 26, 1934, at Muscatine, the son of Ollie Theodore and Dorothy May Zimmerman Blake.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served from October 1953 until July 1957.

He married Eddie Sue Thompson June 25, 1958, at Bellaire, Texas.

He was retired from M & M Ford in Muscatine.

Survivors include his wife, three sons, Steven Blake, Anthony Blake and wife Misty, all of Muscatine and Greg Blake and wife Darla of Wapello; one daughter Cindy Woodruff and husband Stephen of Muscatine; ten grandchildren, Cody Fry, Jessica Blake, Kirstina Blake, Brandon Blake, Nicholas Blake, Staci Blake, Sebrina Blake, Wyatt Blake, Nataley Blake and Torrie Blake; one brother Stanley Blake; and three sisters; LaVella Edgington, Lois Jean Smith and Joyce Reid.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Donald Blake, and one sister, Erma Newton.
