Dorothy Jean Kingery, 46, of Mediapolis, died Thursday evening, March 13, 1997 at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

Born March 13, 1951, in Winfield, she was the daughter of Delbert and Betty Marlette Finley. On July 31, 1971, she married Darrell Kingery in Wapello.

Mrs. Kingery was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, shopping, pets and flowers.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Wendy Kingery of Crawfordsville, April Kingery of rural Mediapolis and Christie Krochak of West Chester; three grandchildren; her parents of Wapello; five brothers, Delbert Finley, Jr. of Grandview, William Finley, Jopn Finley, Sam Finley, and Harry Finley, all of Wapello; and eight nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Monday at Dudgeon-McCully Funeral Home, where the family will receive freinds from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Kingery will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dudgeon-McCully Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Cluney officiating. Burial will be in Edwards Cemetery at Oakville.

A memorial had been established.
