Harold F. Perkins, 85, of Conyers, Ga., formerly of Louisa County, died Wednesday, January 22, 2003, at the Rockdale Hospital in Conyers.

Born May 10, 1917, he was the son of Susie Perkins Lyons. His wife, Emily, died in December, 2002.

Survivors include one daughter, Patsy Welch of Conyers; three sons, James Perkins of Marietta, Ga., Robert Perkins of Altus, Okla., and Kevin Perkins of Conyers; two half-brothers, Darrell Lyons of Muscatine and Doyle Lyons of Danville; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandaughter.

A memorial service for Mr. Perkins will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Conyers with the Rev John Kieran officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Harry L. White Funeral Home in Conyers.

The graveside memorial service and interment for Harold and Emily Perkins will be Tuesday, August 19, at 11:00 a.m. in Wapello Cemetery. The Rev. Patrick Hilgendorf will officiate. Mr. and Mrs. Perkins were long time Burlington residents. Mrs. Perkins died Nov. 20, 2002 and Mr. Perkins died January 22, 2003
