Emily M. Perkins, 81, of Conyers, Ga., died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002 at Rockdale Hospital.

Mrs. Perkins was born in Des Moines.

She worked for the Iowa public school system in food services.

Survivors include her husband, Harold F. Perkins of Conyers; three sons, James Perkins of Marietta, Ga., Robert Perkins of Altus, Okla., and Kevin Perkins of Conyers; one daughter, Patsy Welch of Conyers; a half sister, Juanita Baldwin of Mediapolis; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandaughter.

Her body was cremated. The memorial service for Mrs. Perkins wil be Friday at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Conyers, with the Rev. John Kieran officiating.

Harry L. White Funeral Home in Conyers is in charge of arrangements.

Note: Emily was born in Burlington, Des Moines county, Iowa, the daughter of William Emil and Lillian May Hand Fensterbush. She married Harold Frederick Perkins Sept. 14,1938 in Ft. Madison, Lee county, Iowa
