GRANDVIEW WOMAN IS CALLED BY DEATH

Mrs. Anna Rathfon Passes Away After a Lingering Illness - Funeral to be Held Tuesday.

Grandview, Ia., Sept. 12 - (Special) - Mrs. Anna Rathfon, a well known resident of this place passed away at her home in Grandview at 6:50 o'clock Sunday evening after a lingering illness of seven weeks. Mrs. Rathfon was 69 years of age at the time of her death, which was due to dry gangrene. She was preceded in death several years ago by her husband the late George Rathfon.

Mrs. Rathfon is survived by two sons Leonard, who resides in Nevada and James. Four sisters and two brothers also survive her. They are Mrs. Chapman of Missouri, Mrs. Gallop of Columbus Junction and Mrs. R.S. Cocklin and Mrs. Henry Tumbs of Grandview and Robert Beck of Wapello and Frank Beck of Grandview.

The funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Evangelical church of this place.
