Grandview, Iowa, Oct. 10 - Mrs. Anna Krahl, a well-known resident of this place passed away at her home at 2:30 o'clock Sunday morning after an illness of about two weeks. Her condition was not regarded as serious until within a few hours before her death and the news that she had succombed came as a great surprise and shock to her many friends and relatives in this community.

Mrs. Krahl is survived by four children, Harley Krahl, of Letts, and Louis and Misses Elizabeth and Pearl Krahl, of Granview, the two latter residing at home. Miss Elizabeth Krahl, who has been visiting in Los Angeles, Cal., has been notified of her mother's unexpected death and is expected to arrive here from the west Thursday. Arrangements for the funeral can not be definitely announced until she arrives home, but it is probable that the services will be held Thursday or Friday.
