Civil War Veteran Dies

Saturday afternoon Joseph Frazee, a veteran of the civil war and a well known citizen of Grandview, passed away at the home of his niece, Mrs. James Sabin, after but one week's illness. Pneumonia was the cause of his death.

Mr. Frazee was a member of Company K, Eighth Iowa Infantry volunteers. He was 72 years of age at the time of his death. His wife preceded him in death several years ago. The funeral was held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home of John Campbell, where Mr. Frazee, who was visiting his niece when seized with his fatal illness, had made his home for a number of years preceding his death.
