Mary Catherine Graham, age 84, of Wapello, Iowa, died Wednesday morning, April 13, 1994 at the Wapello Nursing & Care Center.

The daughter of Richard and Emma Weber Kossmeyer, she was born October 10, 1909 at Webster Groves, Missouri. She married Leland Graham November 9, 1946.

Mary was an Avon Cosmetics Salesperson for many years and then in later years she worked as a nurses aide at the Wapello Nursing Home. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and St. Mary's Catholic Church of Wapello.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilee Hudspeth of Wapello; a son, Lee and Jackie Graham of Jackson, Missouri; two grandson, Duane Miller and Gary Graham; two step-grandsons Tim and Greg Klund; and one great-granddaughter, Carie Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard.

The funeral mass was held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 1994 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Bernie Weir officiating. Mary Breon provided the organ music. The casket bearers were Dan Fletcher, Jim Keldgord, Mike Wilkerson, Jim Moore, Bill Small, and John Brus. The burial followed at the Sunset Memorial Park at Affton, Missouri, near St. Louis.

A Christian Wake Service was held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday followed by visitation with family meeting friends at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello.
