Mrs. John (Lucille A.) Richardson, 71, of 930 Ninth St., LaSalle, Ill., died at 3:20 a.m. Oc. 22, 1997 in her home following an extended illness.

Services were held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, Chicago, and at 10 a.m. in St. Gabriel Church.

Local visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday in the Mueller & Pagani Funeral Home, LaSalle, with a scripture service at 5 p.m. by the Rev. Joseph Anderson of St. Hyacinth Church, LaSalle.

Visitation in Chicago was held from 2-9 p.m. Friday in the Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Evergreen Park.

Mrs. Richardson was born April 17, 1926 in Chicago, She married John "Hoppy" Richardson.

She was a member of St. Hyacinth's Church, LaSalle.

Survivors are her husband John of LaSalle; five daughters, Kathy Richardson, Sue Heenan, and Carol Richardson, all of LaSalle, and Grace Richardson and Donna (Dan) O'Connor of Colorado; one stepson, Gary (Linda) Richardson of Wapello; two step-daughters, Sharon (Delbert) Hembree of Indiana, and Barb (Keith) Brockway of Burlington; 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Gustainis; two brothers, James (Marie) Brown and Robert (Evelyn) Bulich; nieces and nephews.
