Larry Dean Belzer, 60, of Winigan, Missouri, died Sunday morning, November 8, 1998, in Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

The son of Frank and Melissa Blanche (Jennings) Belzer, he was born October 6, 1938 near North Salem. He was a graduate of Green City R-I High School and attended Technical School in Kansas City. For most of his life he sold and repaired televisions and CB radios, and he raised dogs. He was a member of the Winigan Christian Church.

He is survived by three brothers; Marlin Belzer of Browning, Bill Belzer of New Boston, and Harold Belzer of St. Charles, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Almond of St. Catherine, Missouri and Betty Geissler of Riverside, California; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Mr. Belzer was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ilene Bailey and Lottie Bailey; and four brothers, Clay, Allen, Clyde, and Jerry Belzer.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the Glenn E. Kent and Son Funeral Home in Green City with Joe Belzer, Rod Belzer, and Harold Belzer officiating. Music was furnished by Jennifer Belzer, soloist, and Mary Susan Scott, organist. Burial was in the North Salem Cemetery. Casket bearers were Randy Belzer, Terry Belzer, Darrell Belzer, Bill Belzer, Ted Belzer, Bob Belzer, Keith Bailey and Kenny Belzer.
