Kory Dean Minnick, age 27, Mediapolis, most recently of Hope Haven, died Wednesday, July 3, 1996 at the Burlington Medical Center.

The son of Hal and Karen (Stoaks) Minnick, he was born January 28, 1969 at Burlington. He attended local schools and graduated from Central Avenue School in Burlington. Since moving to Hope Have, he worked at ADP in Burlington.

He was a member of the Mediapolis First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his parents of Mediapolis; 1 sister, Kayla Dahms of Davenport; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Minnick of Kent, Iowa, Mrs. Sere Stoaks of Lenox, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Gene Stoaks.

Funeral service was held Saturday, July 6, 1996 at 10:30 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church in Mediapolis, Rev. Dick Reynolds officiating. Interment followed at the Kossuth Cemetery.

Friends called as desired Friday at Hagele and Honts Funeral Home in Mediapolis, where the family met with friends Friday evening.

Memorials have been established for either Hope Haven, Mediapolis Methodist Church, or the Mediapolis Community ambulance Service.
