Ruby I. Holladay, age 95, 534 South Beach Blvd., Anaheim, CA, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 1997 at West Anaheim Extended Care, Anaheim, CA following a lengthy illness.

She was born July 7, 1902 to Ralph R. and Kate E. Weihler Armstrong at Randolph, IA. She married Theodore Holladay in Randolph, IA on June 24, 1925.

Ruby graduated from Indianola High School and Simpson College, and worked for the Federal Government for 28 years as a social worker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were at the Jones and Eden Funeral Home, in charge of all arrangements, Washington, Iowa. Interment will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington, IA at a later date.

Ruby is survived by a nephew, T.J. Berdo, Washington, IA and a sister, Vera Hall, Cheyenne, WY. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Wendy, and 4 brothers and sisters.
