Ruby Hunt Scott, 44, Eldon, died Tuesday evening at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Camel Funeral Home in Otumwa. Burial will be in the Eldon Cemetery, Visitation is 7 to 9 this evening.

The Daughter of Sylvester and Mary Garman Nevins, she was born Feb. 23, 1937, in Ottumwa. She was a former resident of Muscatine.

Her marriage to Richard Scott took place on Feb. 14, 1970. she was a member of the Eldon Christian Church, the Eagles Lodge Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; her mother; one brother, James Nevins of Bloomfield; and four sisters, Shirley Hobbs of Ottumua, Delores Gannon of LaPlata, Mo., and Connie Jones and Debbie Finney, both of Eldon.

She was preceded in death by her father.
