Rex B. Harrison, 79, Prairie Village of Wapello, died Sunday at the Wapello Care Center.

Services are Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Chapel. visitation is today at the funeral home where the family will meet with friends from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Harrison was born March 13, 1906 in Mercer County, Illinois, a son of Henry and Emma Knox Harrison. He married Geneva Bennett on Dec. 21, 1929 in Muscatine. She died Oct. we 1982. He had farmed his entire adult life.

Survivors include two sons, Billy Harrison, Wainae, Hawaii; and Donald Harrison, Larto, La.; two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Jean) Williams, Columbus Junction; and Stella Ledbetter, Wapello; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry Harrison, California; four sisters, Lois Stineman, Mrs. Bill (Winifred) Ives, and Mrs. Carl (Geneva) Peterson, all of Wapello; and Wilma McKinney, Yuma, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by three sons, a brother and two sisters.
