Paul J. Lutz, 84, of Columbus Junction, formerly of Conesville, died Wednesday, June 14, 1995, at the Colonal Manor Care Center, Columbus Junction.

Born July 16, 1910 in Lone Tree, he was the son of Frank and Mary Ellen Billick Lutz. He married Elizabeth E. Hamilton, Nov 26, 1936 in Quincy, IL. She died March 3, 1987.

Mr. Lutz retired from the Lutz Insurance Agency in 1985. He was past president and longtime board member of the Louisa Mutual Insurance Association and was a member of the United Church of Christ in Coonsville.

Survivors include one sister, Nettie Berven of Iowa City; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, a sister and a son.

Visitation was from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial was in the Lone Tree Cemetery.

Memorials have been established for the Alzheimer's Association and the Colonial Manor Bird Aviary.
