Milton Edward Kerr, 49, died Saturday, April 12, 1979, 6:20 a.m. at Burlington Medical Center.

Born Sept. 29, 1930, in Newport, he was the son of Rex and Ruby Herr Kerr. On Nov. 26, 1954, he married Bonnie Kruger in Muscatine.

He was an employee of Iowa Highway commission for 20 years, a veteran of the US Navy and a member of Eagles and VFW.

Surviving: the wife; mother, of Stockton; two sons, Steven, Letts, and Richard, Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Dianna Petty, Muscatine, and Penny Brockett, Wapello; two brothers, Merle, Wapello, and Robert, Mediapolis; four sisters, Marjorie Otto, Muscatine, Beverly Wolfe, Stockton, Helen Rahmiller. Columbus Junction, and Norma Hostetter, Yarmouth.

Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Rev. Ken Beachler; Elwood Cemetery, Morning Sun.
