James Raymond McKee, 68, Morning Sun, died Saturday, June 25, 1983.

He was born Oct. 14, 1914, at Ameret, Mo., to Jerome and Sarah Walkinshaw McKee. He married Virginia Bergen Sept. 14, 1946, at Burlington. They lived in the Morning Sun community. He was a retired J.I. Case Co. employee, a World War II and Korean War Veteran, a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church and Hays-Scott Post #112 of the American Legion.

Surviving: his wife; two sons, James R. Jr., Burlington, and Randall Lee McKee, New London; two daughters, Shirley Murray, Morning Sun, and Connie Turner, Fairbanks; nine grandchildren; one brother, Glenn McKee, Long Beach, Calif.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Pierce Funeral Home, Morning Sun, the Rev. Fred Harris; Elmwood Cemetery.
