D. Scott Keltner, 22, Route 1, died this morning of injuries received in an auto accident at Guymon, Okla.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, Wapello. The Rev. Bill Young will officiate. Burial will be at the Wapello Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home after noon Friday. A memorial has been established.

Mr Keltner was born March 7, 1966 in Burlington, a son of Job Jr. and Julie Ann McKinney Keltner.

He was a 1984 graduate of Wapello High School, had attended Allen Community College at Iola, Kansas for two years and was due to graduate in May from Oklahoma Panhandle State University at Goodwell, Okla. He was student teaching ag education at Balko School, Balko, Okla.

He was a member of the college and university rodeo teams, a member of the Iowa Rodeo Association. He was active in the Future Farmes of America and the 4-H at Wapello.

Survivors include his parents Job Jr. and Barb Keltner of Wapello; and Dave and Julie Jacobs of Mediapolis; his paternal grandparents, Job and Grace Keltner of Wapello; a brother, Shane K., of Mediapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Kelly (Denise) Baker and Mrs. Greg (Michell) McLaughlin, both of Mediapolis; two step brothers, Rodney Staats of Columbus Junction; and Todd Staats of Midwest City, Okla.; three stepsisters, Kelly Staats of Davenport; Trish Schaefer of Morning Sun; and Marcy Heckenburg of Kingston, Iowa.

He is preceded in death by an infant brother and his maternal grandmother.
