Mrs. Louise Ewing Dies at Mother's Home Near Grandview - Funeral Held Today at Grandview.

Grandview, Ia., April 23 - (Special.)- The funeral of the late Mrs. Louise Ewing, who passed away at the home of her mother, Mrs. J.L. Kent, two and one-half miles south of here, was held this afternoon from the Methodist Episcopal church at 1 o'clock. Rev. C.R. Zimmerman of the Methodist church of Morning Sun, conducted the services. The interment was made in the Grandview cemetery.

Mrs. Ewing passed away yesterday morning at 11 o'clock. Her death was due to cancer of the stomach. She was born October 6, 1857, in Muscatine county. She was first united in marriage to Rev. L.M. Mahurin. To this union was born one son, Dale, who survives his mother. Later Mr. Mahurin passed away. On June 4, 1906, Mrs. Mahurin was married to E.W. Ewing. Her second husband survives her. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. J.L. Kent, one brother, William Blank, of Morning Sun, and two sisters, Mrs. George Gresham, of Wapello, and Miss Nettie Kent, who resides at the Kent home.
