Betty J. Falwell, 101, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died Friday, May 6, 1994, at United Medical Center West in Cheyenne.

Born May 22, 1892, in Biggsville, Illinois, she was the daughter of John A. and Margaret Jane Gibbs Stevenson. She first married Earl Holmes. He died in 1932. She later married Earl B. Falwell in Casper, Wyoming. He died in 1974.

Mrs. Falwell had lived in Cheyenne Since 1941. She was a homemaker who was self-employed. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cheyenne.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, George H. and Verlee Holmes of Wapello.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Graveside services for Mrs. Falwell were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 8, in Memorial Gardens, Cheyene, with Rev. James L. Green officiating.
