Isreal Hall Hammill was born near Grandview, Iowa, June 21, 1911 and died at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. M.G. Hammill, March 29, 1911, aged 36 years, 9 months and 8 days.

Although an unusally bright child, in consequence of an attack of spinal meningitis when he was 21 months old, he has been almost a mental wreck for 35 years. Deceased is survived by his parents, one sister, Mrs. W.H. McCulley, of near Grandview, and one brother, Warren, of Keota, Iowa. The funeral was held from the home Thursday p.m. conducted by Philip Hahn. The remains were interred in the Grandview cemetery.
