John Hardman was born in Rochester, Cedar county, Iowa, April 14, 1865, and departed this life Feb. 15, 1907, at Grandview, Iowa, after an illness of several months. He was united in marriage to Miss Mollie Beik, Feb. 11, 1892. To this union was born three children: Guy, Milton, and Grace. Besides the three children he is survived by his wife, a father and mother, one brother, Chas., and two sisters, Mrs. David Woodruff and Mrs. Wm. Khone, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his departure. The funeral occurred Sunday a.m. at 11 o'clock from the Methodist church, Rev. Longnecker officiating, assisted by Revs. Moger, Hummell and Staufacher. Interment in the Grandview cemetery. The floral offering were many and beautiful.
