Helen Ruth Stineman was born Dec. 29, 1893, near Grandview, Iowa, and departed this life Wednesday, March __, 1911, at about 10 o'clock a.m. at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dell Stineman, after a lingering illness of several months.

Deceased was a graduate of the Grandview High school in 1909 and in 1910 graduated from Brown's Business college, of Muscatine, with first honors, after which she accepted a position in the Hershey bank at Muscatine, as a book-keeper, which she faithfully filled until she was compelled to resign on account of illness, from which she never recovered.

She was of a cheerful disposition, whose greetings were a pleasure to her friends. We realize a personal loss in her, who, although absent, still lives in the hearts and memories of those who knew her. Deceased is survived by her father and mother, three brothers and three sisters. The are Harry, Frank, Paul, Mrs. Perry Shellabarger, Marion and Faith.

The funeral occurred Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Barker, of Victor, Iowa. The remains were interred in the Grandview cemetery.
