SUCCUMBS AFTER A LONG ILLNESS

MISS HAZEL SNYDER DIES AT HOME IN GRANDVIEW.

Girl Who Has Been Invalid For Several Years Made Valiant Fight For Recovery.

After fighting, with determination for several years to regain her health Miss Hazel Snyder, of Grandview, a young girl well known in Muscatine, yesterday suffered defeat after a valiant effort, succumbing as a victim to the malady the progress of which she so spiritedly opposed.

The death of the girl was caused by a complication of diseases and follows a prolonged invalidity. Announcement of her death was received with sorrow by many relatives and friends here. Miss Snyder during the past three years made frequent visits to Muscatine physicians in the hope of benefiting her health, and during her visits here became well acquainted, especially in South Muscatine.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Snyder and a grandchild of Mrs. Hester A. Crow, on Sampson street. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at Grandview.
