Mrs. Margaret (Maley) Morgan, born in Ohio on April 21, 1819, died at her home in Columbus City on Sept. 7, 1893.

She came to Illinois in the early days of 1835. On Oct. 15, 1840, she married David Morgan. He along with seven children survive.

They moved to Columbus City, Iowa, in 1862 where they have lived ever since.

The funeral was performed Sept. 8 by the Rev. Koontz.

Children are Thomas of Des Moines, Charles of here, James of Cedar Point and daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Rawhauser of Carroll, Mrs. Orinda Eddy of Unionville, Mo., Mrs. Alice Hoover and Miss Emma of Columbus City. Her husband is an invalid.
