GREEN FUNERAL IS HELD AT GRANDVIEW

Miss Grace Green, Prominent Young Woman, Is Victim of Diphtheria - Death Ends Long Illness.

Grandview, Ia., June 6. - The funeral of Miss Grace Green, a prominent young woman of this place, who passed away at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Green, at 6 o'clock Tuesday evening, was held today from the Congregational church. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.B. Jackson. Interment was made in the Grandview cemetery.

Miss Green was born in Swaledale, Ia., October 22, 1893. Her death came at the end or a lingering illness of six weeks. Diphtheria was the cause of her death. She had been believed to be on the road to recovery until Sunday, when she suffered a relapse and after that time grew gradually worse until the end came Tuesday evening. She was a Christian young woman and a great favorite with a large circle fo friends, who sincerely mourn her death. She is survived by her parents and by one brother, True.
