VICKIE L. HOWARD

Funeral services for Vickie Lee Howard, 47, of Fruitland, will be Thursday, October 9, 1997 at 1:30 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine. Mrs. Howard died on Monday at the Burlington Medical Center.

Visitation was held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, Iowa. Pallbearers will be Mitch Elliot, Eric Warner, Bill Petty, Rick Richardson, John Richardson and Steve Howard.

Memorials may be made to the Vickie Lee Howard Memorial Fund.

Vickie was born January 21, 1950 to Maynard Lawrence and Ruby Lucile Moots Krueger in Muscatine, Iowa.

On February 8, 1972 Vickie and Kenneth Howard were united in Holy Matrimony at Rock Island, Illinois. From this union two children were born.

Vickie was a member of the Burlington Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed collecting dolls and spending time with children, especially her grandchildren, Brittney Kay, Danielle Jo, and Traven Wayne. She loved everyone she met, and they loved her in return.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth at home; 2 sons, Douglas Howard of Fruitland and Richard and Teresa Howard of Danville, Ill.; 3 grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Bonnie Kerr, and Grace Wagg, both of Mediapolis, and Judy Connolly of Wapello.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
