FLOSSIE REBECCA DAILY

Wapello – Mrs. Flossie Rebecca Daily, 85, Wapello, died in Burlington Medical Center Monday, Nov. 11.

She was born Sept. 17, 1900, in Louisa County, to John and Rosa Rahmiller Adamson. She married Myron Daily Aug. 4, 1918, near Columbus Junction; he died Aug. 31, 1958.

Mrs. Daily was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Leyda Dorcas Circle, World War I Widows, and Long Creek Homemakers Club.

Surviving: Five daughters, Alice Carter, Monticello, Helen Iten, Naples, Fla., Myra Mehaffy, Mediapolis, and Martha Walker and Shirley Walker, both of Wapello; two sisters, Viola Meyerholz and Lela Pretz, both of Wapello; 11 grandchildren, one stepgrandchild, 22 great-grandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Richard Smith; Wapello Cemetery. A memorial for First Presbyterian Church has been established at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home.
