Catharine Pallett was born near Pittsburg, Penn., August ww, 1832, and departed this life at her home in Grandview June 17, 1908, aged 75 years, nine months and 26 days. When but a few years of age, her parents moved to Warren, Ohio, and in 1846 moved to Scott County, Iowa. About a year later they moved to Louisa County.

She was united in marriage to James L. Sullenger Dec. 25, 1851. To this union seven children were born, of which four preceded her to the spirit world. Those still living are Mrs. Martha E. Reed, Mrs. Nancy M. Guthrie and Willhamina Storms, all of Grandview. The deceased are Mrs. Mary C. Arihood, Mrs. Celesta Huff and Amanda and Prudence Sullenger. James L. Sullenger died Dec. 20, 1870.

She was united in marriage June 13, 1877, to Wm. B. Robison, of Grandview, where they have made their home most of the time since. She also leaves three step children, John F. and Geo. T. Robison and Mrs. Viletta Grady, whom she has always loved and treated as her own. she also leaves 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren to mourn her loss.

She united with the United Evangelical Church more than 30 years ago and has lived a consistent Christian life ever since.

Funeral occurred Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Evangelical Church, Rev. J. Hummell officiating. Interment in the Grandview Cemetery.
