GRETCHEN A. ROBERTSON
Gretchen Alice Robertson, age 70, of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of the Grandview and Wapello communities, died Saturday, March 28, 1992 at the Winter Haven Hospital. She was born May 11, 1921 in Louisa County, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Marie Derby. She married Rex Robertson on February 12, 1938 at Morning Sun. She was a graduate of the Grandview High School. She worked for about 20 years at Thatcher Glass in Muscatine. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene at Winter Haven.

Survivors include her husband, Rex; two sons, Donald of Columbus City and Kenneth of Grandview; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Della Jean; a son, Stanley; and a grandson.

The funeral service for Gretchen Alice Robertson will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 2, 1992 at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home with Rev. Darryl Erickson officiating. Karen Grimm will be the organist. The casket bearers are Harry Grings, Richard Robertson, Donald Grant Robertson, Donald Latta, William Latta, and Jerry Larimer. Burial will be at the Wapello Cemetery. The family will meet friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home.
