Columbus Junction – Paul M. Wiley, 72, Conesville, died Thursday at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

Services are Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Larry Bronkema of the Independent Bible Church officiating. Guitarist and vocalist is Sara McCleary. Pallbearers are Lester Johnson, Donald Williams, James Graves, Harry Crammond, Justin Schlichting, Ross Masonholder and Chester Smith. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery.

Visitation is after 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Wiley was born May 3, 1915 at Eldon, a son of Harvey and Esther Fisher Wiley. On March 22, 1939 he married Vera Grouwinkel at Burlington. He had farmed his entire adult life.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Lloyd Wiley and Farrel Wiley, both of Muscatine; David Wiley and Bradley Wiley, both of Wilton; 11 grandchildren; and four brothers, Otho “Tobe” Wiley, and Lawrence Wiley, both of Wapello; Richard Wiley, Muscatine; and Gary Wiley, Abingdon, Ill.

He was preceded in death by one brother.
