FRANCES MURRY
Columbus Junction – Frances Elizabeth Murry, 67, died Monday morning at Muscatine General Hospital.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church. Rev. Paul Hasel will officiate. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. Visitation is today at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home.

Frances Murry was born March 3, 1912 in Weldon, the daughter of Nova Earl and Lulu Gamble Tompkins.

Her marriage to Earl Murry took place July 21, 1929 in Trenton, Mo. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. John (Bonnie) Wheeler of Conesville, Mrs. Edward (Lulu) Griffin and Mrs. Al (Jean) Wathen, both of Columbus Junction; three sons, Gerald and Ronald, both of Columbus Junction and Dennis of Broomfield, Colo.; 27 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lyle Tompkins of Muscatine.

One brother and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
