Columbus Jct., Iowa – Anne Wathen, 16, of Columbus Junction died suddenly Tuesday at her home.

Miss Wathen was a junior at Columbus Community High School.

She was born March 16, 1971, in Muscatine.

Visitation is after 3 p.m. Thursday at Stacy-Lewis Chapel, Columbus Junction, with a scriptural prayer service at 7 p.m.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Columbus Junction. Burial will be in Columbus City Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.

She was a member of the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Tyson Wathen, at home; her mother, Jean Murry Wathen, Columbus Junction, with whom she resided; sisters, Mary Wathen, at home, and Reena (Mrs. Steven) Seamen, Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers, Martin Partington, Colombus Junction, and Adrian E. Wathen, Fort Lewis, Wash.; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.Earl Murry, Columbus Junction.
