VIVIAN FRY
Wapello – Vivian Pearl Fry, 72, died today at the Wapello Nursing Care Center.

There is no service.

The body will be cremated and the cremains will be buried at the Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.

Memorials may be made to the Keck Memorial Library at Wapello or the Wapello Rescue Unit.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fry was born Jan. 21, 1912 at Mediapolis, a daughter of Glen and Pearl Conn Housman. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She had worked at the Hiway Pantry and the Tomahawk Restaurant.

Survivors include one son, Duane Lynch of Wapello; one daughter, Sherry Crooks of Wapello; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Howard Housman of Sperry; Leland and Dale Housman, both of Mediapolis; Floyd Housman of Yarmouth; and Wendall Housman of Mount Union; and three sisters, Pauline Lee of Morning Sun; Dorothy Pontzius of Hillsdale, Ill.; and Lois Robbins of Wapello.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son and one sister.
