Latimer Davis, 69 year old, Crawfordsville farmer, died suddenly Tuesday, November 2:2, 1966 at 5 p. m. while driving a tractor along the highway.

The funeral was Saturday at 2 p. m. in the United Presbyterian Church at Crawfordsville with Rev. Robert Rushing in charge. Burial in Crawfordsville cemetery with Masonic rites at the graveside.

Mr. Davis was born September 1897 near Crawfordsville. A son of Henry E. and Mary E. Davies Davis, he was reared at Crawfordsville and attended Burlington Trade School.

He was married March 16, 1920 to Mary Alda, Twinam who died March 6, 1956.

He was a veteran of World War I; Masonic Lodge, Cyrus Chapter, Royal Arch Masons, Zeradetha Council, Royal and Select Masons, Bethlehem Commandry, Last Supper Tabernacle of Des Moines, Kaaba Shrine, Eastern Star, White Shrine and American Legion.

Surviving are a son, David Henry Davis of Crawfordsville; two daughters; Mrs. Ralph (Mary) Hunt of Pavillion, Wyoming; and Mrs. John (Martha) Walker of Mariana, California; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers: Willard of Columbus Junction and Ura of Crawfordsville.
