MORNING SUN - Elsie Pauline Goudie, 92, of Morning Sun, died Thursday, Dec. 27, at Burlington Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 4, 1892, near Marsh, to Robert and Ida Hopkins Wright. She married Roy L. Goudie Nov. 24, 1910, at Memphis, Mo.

She graduated from Morning Sun High School in 1910. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Morning Sun, and lived most of her life on a farm north of Morning Sun.

Surviving: A daughter, Mrs. Eva Allen, Roseville, Ill.; two sons, Fred and Paul, both of Morning Sun; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons.

Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Sunday, First United Presbyterian Church, Morning Sun. The Rev. Diane Bishop; Elmwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the United Presbyterian Church.
