Rosanne Christofferson, 48, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007, in Waverly, IA. Funeral services were Saturday, December 29, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. Rev. Paul Appel of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated. Visitation was held on Saturday, December 29, 2007, at the funeral home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Rosanne’s name. Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery. Following the committal services, there was a time of food and fellowship at St. Joseph Church Egert Hall. Rosanne Marie Hammons was born November 21, 1959, in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of Kenneth and Carol (Anderson) Hammons. Rosanne graduated from Hawkeye Tech as an LPN, working in Nursing Homes. She enjoyed working with indoor plants, collecting antiques, gardening, and fishing.

Rosanne will be dearly missed by her daughters, Brandy Christofferson of Applington and Amber Elsberry and husband, Jonathan of Grundy Center; her parents, Ken and Carol Hammons of Crawfordsville; her brothers and sister, Tony Hammons of Cedar Rapids, Kevin Hammons of Muscatine, Richard Hammons and wife, Delsie of Columbus Junction, Scott Hammons and Steve Hammons of Strausberg, MO, Daniel Hammons and wife, Chari, of Lakeland, FL, and Kimberly Murphy and husband, John of Strausberg, MO; 14 nieces and nephews; and 6 grand-nieces and nephews.

Rosanne was preceded in death by her grandparents and her son, Eli Conaway.
