Clair Dean Johnson, 69, Morning Sun, IA died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007 at the Morning Sun Care Center. A celebration of life service and graveside services at Columbus City Cemetery will be held at a later date. Clair was born on August 29, 1938 to the parents of Clair and Dorothy (Reid) Johnson in Rock Island, IL. Clair was a self-employed heavy equipment operator, a member of the National Rifle Association, and served in the United States Army. Clair has two children, Rhonda and Chad Johnson; two sisters, Beverly Johnson, Torrance, CA, Audrey Garrett, Pine Top, AZ, and nieces, nephews, and cousins. His parents preceded him in death.
