GRANDVIEW-Dorothy Branscom, 76, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1996, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. Burial will be at the Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Louisa County Public Health Nursing, and the Home Caring.
Dorothy Belle Boggs was born July 31, 1919, in Valley Junction, a daughter of Clarence and Ruby Jane Martin Boggs.
She had retired in 1986, following 20 years of employment at HON INDUSTRIES.
She was a member of the Davenport Moose Lodge and the Muscatine Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary J. Brown Mehalovich of Johnston; four sons, Jim Branscom of Bloomsbury, Pa., Joe Branscom of Topeka, Kan., George Brascom of Queen City, Mo., and Lonnie Goodwin of Grandview; a stepson Bob Goodwin of Tupelo, Miss.; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Lillie Davis of Davenport, and Odessa Gillespie of Queen City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, a great-grandson, a brother, and a sister.
