MUSCATINE, Iowa - Mary Freeda Boynton-Jones, 87, Muscatine, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at Bickford Cottage.

She was born April 7, 1917, in Columbus Junction, the daughter of John P. and Genevieve Bell Jones. She married Eugene W. "Mike" Boynton III Sept. 4, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1978. She later married Joseph Jones in 1982. he preceded her in death in 1999.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Michael Boynton and wife Sherry of Muscatine; a daughter, Janetta Stamler and husband P.J. of Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie Duncan of Columbus Junction and Jean Miksch, of Washington.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; and two brothers, Russell Kennedy Jones and James Darold Jones.
