Mrs. Thede Boysen Called By Death, October 1

Mrs. Marie Catharine Boysen of Mediapolis died October 1, 1969 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ann Deihl at Durant, Iowa, where she had just arrived after visiting at the home of her daughter in Clinton.

Mrs. Boysen was the daughter of Peter and Mathilda Detlefsen Hinrichsen and was born February 4, 1891, at Risum-by-Lindholm, Germany. She was married there to Mr. Thede Boysen on February 14, 1913. Mr. Boysen preceded her in death February 17, 1967.

Mrs. Boysen was a member of the Mediapolis United Methodist Church and of the W.S.C.S of the church and of the Wednesday Club.

She is survived by one son, Edlef Boysen of Mediapolis, three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Werner of Winfield, Mrs. Ann Deihl of Durant and Mrs. Suella Forrest of Clinton; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

One daughter, Dora and one son, Albert, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. at the Mediapolis United Methodist Church with Rev. Raymond Moore officiating on Saturday.

Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery.
