Amy Kathleen Lim Bo Ra Davis

Amy Kathleen Lim Bo Ra Davis, age 15, of Wapello, Iowa, died Saturday evening, July 4, 1998, at the Muscatine General Hospital. The daughter of Mike and Linda Kay Anhalt Davis, she was born January 8, 1983 at Seoul, Korea.

Amy had completed her freshman year at Wapello High School. She was involved in the student senate, mock trial, the school play and the SMACK program. She enjoyed sports of all kinds and also music, especially playing the piano. She most enjoyed her friends. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church at West Burlington.

Survivors include her parents, Mike and Linda Davis; two brothers, Adam Davis and Andrew Davis, both of Cedar Falls; and her grandparents, C.J. and Dorothy Davis of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Phillip and Jean Anhalt.

A Funeral Mass for Amy Davis will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 1998, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at West Burlington with Father Louis J. Mulligan and Father Jerry Stouvenel officiating. The casket bearers will be Joe Cross, Jason Cross, Matt Hussel, Todd Morris, Sam Allworth, and Jason Hutcheson. Music will be provided by Sue Bloomberg as organist and Lisa Simpson as vocalist. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery at West Burlington.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.

Friends called Wednesday at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home at Wapello, where a Rosary was held at 6 p.m. and the family met friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
