MORNING SUN, Iowa - Evelyn Glenora Bouquot, 89, formerly of Muscatine and Wapello, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at the Morning Sun Care Center, Morning Sun.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday at the Riverside Public Cemetery, Riverside.

A family viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, Morning Sun. A memorial fund has been established.

Mrs. Bouquot was born July 17, 1913, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Kuiatkowski Stachar. She married Glenn J. Bouquot in Nashua. He preceded her in death in 1951.

She was a homemaker and had worked as a house cleaner, seamstress and at the H.J. Heinz Co. in Muscatine.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary, the Eagles, and the Moose Lodge, all of Muscatine.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Vance of Columbus City; two sons, Alfred Bouquot of Rockford, Ill., and Joseph Bouquot of Columbus City; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Harold Stachar and Allen Stachar, both of Muscatine, and Vern Stachar of Apache Junction, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers.
