Mrs. Phillip Danielson Rites Were Sunday

Mrs. Sandra Haislet Danielson, 20, the mother of three children, apparently committed suicide Friday evening by shooting herself with a 12-gauge shotgun, the Louisa County Sheriff’s office reported Saturday.

Mrs. Danielson was found dead about 7:30 p.m. Friday at their home southeast of Columbus Junction by her husband, Phillip, sheriff’s officers said.

Mrs. Danielson was born July 16, 1945 in Burlington, the daughter of Charles and Lola Ruble Haislet. On February 6, 1960, she married Phillip Danielson in Wapello.

Surviving are her husband, three children, Diana Lee 4, Leah Lynn 3, and Phillip, Jr. one; and a sister Constance Haislet of Wapello.

Services were Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home at Wapello. The Rev. William Moon officiated. Burial in Wapello cemetery.
