PEORIA-Edith M. Courtney, 75, of 740 W. Joan Court died at 3:35 p.m. Friday, May 27, 1994, at Methodist Medical Center.

She was born March 8, 1919, in Wapello, Iowa, to Charles W. and Aurora Klingsmith Courtney.

Surviving are two sisters, Ruby Dawson of Charleston and Violet D. Courtney of Bettendorf, Iowa.

She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Wilton Mortuary. The Rev. Ben Johnston will officiate. Visitation will be one half hour before services at the mortuary. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to her church.
